Excited about the upcoming ban on smoking in public places I established a Flickr group to document smoking in bars and pubs.

Shots of people puffing away in these kind of places will soon become very rare, imagine having a collection of photographs showing people enjoying cigarettes in aeroplane cabins. Very 70's indeed.

Anyway I created the group but, as you know if you've just clicked on the link, so far I haven't posted a single shot; I simply can't stand being in smoky pubs anymore.

I just can't do it.

I'm prepared to suffer for my art but I'm not committing suicide.

This cigarette butt dicovered on one of those translucent plastic bollards on Queensway this evening is as close as I've got in recent months.

Perhaps I should offer to buy a few pints for that robot from the Honda ads in return for some snaps from the Coach and Horses.
