Matthew today presented me with a fantastic idea for what to do with out of favour christmas trees: Make new ones.

Grind them up and compress them into particle boards, cut them into classic christmas tree shapes which are then slotted together at a right angle.

Ideally these wafer boards can be made using the tree's own sap as bonding, possibly through a heat process. This would preserve the all important olfactory qualities which is after all the best thing about the damn things.

I want one.
