I’ve just been reading about the current rash of blogging for cash schemes. The cleverly titled PayPerPost will give you money (I couldn’t pin down exactly how much) for writing ‘Positive Posts’ about presumably unpopular products and services.

Seems like advertisers are fast running out of ideas when it comes to the internet if this is the best they can come up with. I don’t know about you but I’m very faddish with sites nowadays, once they’ve gone bad, I don’t go back. And more to point, the new internet models based on things like social book marking by nature filter out feeble things like PayPerPost.

The simple fact is that credibility is inversely proportional to the amount of money you get paid to say something. If you really want to make big bucks from your blog simply ...er... write a better blog.
